Healing - Rosy Oliphant NFSH

What is Spiritual Healing?

Healing is holistic – it treats the whole person, body, mind, emotions and spirit. It is a gentle but powerful therapy, unique in itself, which mixes well with orthodox medicine and other complementary therapies.
Healing does not replace standard medical care, it is complementary.
Healers are able to channel energy to boost the body’s defences and recovery systems and encourage the body to heal itself.
Healing is relaxing and enjoyable as well as beneficial. It can leave you feeling re-energised or relaxed and peaceful, and it is completely safe and side-effect free.

Who can benefit from Healing?

Everybody. Healing can be helpful to any condition, physical or psychological, ranging from simple pain relief and speeding up recovery from injury or operations, to helping relieve the effects of chemotherapy. Healing can also help in adjusting to and coping with life-changing and even terminal conditions.

Healers do not ask patients to do or ‘believe’ anything, just to give it a try, and want to be well.

Complete confidentiality is assured.

Healing does not replace standard medical care, it is complementary.

Fees

Healing is freely given, but I ask for a contribution to help pay for the costs of the treatment room.

About Rosy Oliphant NFSH

I have been a full Healer member of the NFSH since 1992. Members of the NFSH are bound by a strict Code of Conduct.
I am a practising Christian. I feel my healing ability is a gift and my work is part of my witness.

I first experienced healing myself in 1985 when one visit to a healer greatly helped my physical and emotional recovery from a major operation. In 1990 I attended a lecture on Healing, and from then on began my own training and work as a healer.

In answer to the question ‘Does it work?’ my reply is ‘Why would I waste my time if it didn’t?’

What have you got to lose? The worst that can happen is ‘nothing’!

Available for appointments in Marlow on a Monday

Cranio Sacral Therapy - Vicki Steedman

Cranio Sacral therapy is becoming much better known these days – many people are aware of its use for babies after difficult births, but it can also be used very effectively in adults too. It is based on a number of findings about the body’s subtle physiology which were made by osteopaths in the USA nearly 100 years ago.

Theses findings show that every cell in the body express a rhythmic movement which is fundamental to life – this has been called cranio sacral motion. If the rhythmic movements in the body are restricted by physical knocks or emotional stress the body’s tissues can contract and the flow is inhibited. Each part of the body can be affected including the bones, tissues and organs. Any stresses, strains, tensions or traumas which have been stored in the body in this way will restrict the body’s functioning and may give rise to problems over the years. The effects may be both physical (such as back pain, migraine or digestive disorders) or emotional (such as anxiety or depression)

Available for appointments in Marlow every Wednesday or Friday.

Reiki - Louise Brooks-Usher

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered primarily by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order receive Reiki. In fact, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not.

Who can benefit from Reiki healing?

There is no pressure on the body making it ideal for treating all ages and conditions - sometimes hands are even held away from the body. The energy flows wherever it is required (spiritually guided).

Reiki is an effective healing method helping to harmonize body, mind and spirit it has aided the healing of virtually all known illnesses and injuries. (Please be aware that Reiki should not be used instead of medical treatment, it should be used as a compliment and a way to become and remain healthy.)

As in any healing the first step towards a healthier life is a desire to be healed.

About Louise Brooks-Usher BSc(hons) Rshom

I am a registered Homeopath who has also been attuned to level 2 of the Usui System of Reiki Healing. I also use crystals as part of the healing session. I have been drawn to different forms of energy healing for over 10 years. Since receiving Reiki myself I have found it has opened me up to the universe and has had a huge significance in my spiritual journey. During the attunements I realized that I had a wonderful gift that I could share with others for the greater good. My ongoing development is to learn Anusha to enhance Reiki healing.

Available for appointments in High Wycombe every Monday.

Fees

£30 per hour. Standard sessions usually last for 1 hour, but can sometimes be longer – depending on the nature of the problem
